I will be autographing Advanced Reader Copies of my upcoming novel, King of Sword and Sky (book 3 in the Tairen Soul series) at the Dorchester Booth on Friday, May 30, from 11am-1pm.  I’m also up for a ForeWard Magazine Book of the Year Award for best romance novel of 2007 from a small or independent publishing house.

I will be signing Lord of the Fading Lands and Lady of Light and Shadows at RWA National Conference in San Francisco, California.  At the autographing, I?ll also be giving away the new collector?s cards for Lord of the Fading Lands and Lady of Light and Shadows and holding a drawing for an autographed ARC of King of Sword and Sky, book 3 of the Tairen Soul series.

Atlanta, GA

I will be attending DragonCon in Atlanta, GA.  I will be speaking on several panels and be available for an autographing of Lord of the Fading Lands and Lady of Light and Shadows.  I will also be doing a drawing for an autographed ARC of King of Sword and Sky.

I will be a guest of Anderson News Corp at the Food City Show in Knoxville, TN.  I will be signing Lord of the Fading Lands and Lady of Light and Shadows and will be doing a drawing for an autographed copy of King of Sword and Sky.

I will be attending the Georgia Romance Writers’ Moonlight & Magnolia’s conference, where I will be giving a workshop entitled “Dazzle ‘Em with Description” and will be signing copies of my new release, King of Sword and Sky at the autographing (open to the public).  I hope you will come out to join me!  I’ll also be giving away the new collector’s cards for King of Sword and Sky at the autographing.

December 26, 2007 — Lord of the Fading Lands was selected as the best Paranormal romance Debut in 2007 by Michelle Buonfiglio on Romance: B(u)y the Book at LifetimeTV.com.

June 1, 2007 — C.L. Wilson announces the sale of her third and fourth books in the Tairen Soul series to Dorchester Publishing in a nice deal. Tentatively titled King of Sword and Sky and Queen of Song and Souls, the books conclude the epic adventures of Rain Tairen Soul and his truemate Ellysetta Baristani. The books are slated for release October and November 2008.

October 26, 2006 — Bradenton, FL. Cheryl Lyn Wilson announces the sale of her fantasy romance, TAIREN SOUL, in a two-book deal to Dorchester Publishing. The novel will be released in two volumes in October and November 2007 as lead titles of the Leisure line.

TAIREN SOUL was the recipient of the 2004 Suzannah and Emily awards for paranormal romance (including the Emily’s “Best of the Best” award) and won the 2005 Jasmine award for paranormal romance, which led directly to the sale of the book.

TAIREN SOUL is Ms. Wilson’s fifth completed manuscript.

C.L. Wilson is a member of Romance Writers of America and currently serves as Vice President of Tampa Area Romance Writers, her local RWA chapter. She has won numerous awards for her unpublished novels, including the Georgia Romance Writers’ Maggie Award of Excellence, the Low Country RWA’s Jasmine Award, the NOLA Stars Suzannah Award, and the West Houston RWA’s Emily Award.
