Warning - 9-11 Photos Below

Because of the complaint I received from an upset commenter about my 9-11 post, I am posting this blog post so that anyone who comes to my blog will have the option of scrolling down to read my 9-11 post.
If I were more internet savvy, I would find a way to make the 9-11 post visible with or without pictures based on reader's choice. But I'm not, so this will have to suffice.
By scrolling beyond this point to the next post, you acknowledge and understand that the 9-11 post includes impages from 9-11 that some people consider graphic and distressing.

I posted those images for a reason--and that reason is the subject of the post--so the images are a vital part of the blog post.

They are not and were not posted with any intent other than the utmost respect and a desire to share my own, personal sorrow about a day that changed my life and my world.
I regret upsetting any unsuspecting blog visitors. I was not my intent to cause distress.

I'm sorry that some people reacted so badly to pictures of what happened that day. I thought your tribute was very sensitive all things considering, especially when compared to many others that I saw. I even forwarded it to some others in my family who are not readers of your books [yet :) ].
Do not apologize as people need to remember what happened that day, not white-wash it as many in our media have tried to do.
The jumpers were probably among the most heart-rending stories of 9-11 and I for one do not want forget. They are a reminder that we cannot take anything for granted, and need to live each day like it is our last.
Bless you for honoring them and I pray for their families to this day.
Thank you, Chatjd. I truly appreciate your comment.
