QUEEN is done!
Hooray! Today, I officially finished reviewing the copyedits of QUEEN OF SONG AND SOULS. The last thing left for me to do is Galley edits at the end of the month, but the hard part is officially over!
Queen will come out October 27th, 2009, and will be book 4 in what is now (appropriately enough) the Tairen Soul quintet. The fifth and final book of Rain and Ellysetta's journey, TAIREN SOUL, will be coming soon from Leisure Books.

I don't know if you can possibly be more excited than we are, but since it's your baby... You should also get an extra pat on the back for being so conscientious in trying to produce work that you believe in even if it takes a little longer.
I've been trying to get the first two on CD for six months. Have reordered again as they are supposed to be out the end of the month. (Fingers and legs crossed.)

To say Congratulations doesn't begin to cover it! And BONUS, a fifth book. I can't wait! What other projects do you have coming up? With a brilliant success in the Fading Lands, there must be others characters waiting for you to breathe life into their souls. I'm very excited for you (and US!) I am sure the wait will be worth it.

Congratulations Cheryl - I have been on your website weekly for months waiting for this news.
Yay! October 27 isn't really that long to wait - although the time will drag I know. It's like waiting for Christmas but only better because once your done with the book you can reread it again and again.
And a fifth book - what an unexpected surprise! Can't wait to find out what it's all about and hopefully there's a nice happy ending.

My husband and I have been eagerly awaiting the final book as we were both hooked a quarter into the first one. Keep up the excellent work. There aren’t many authors that I read that create can such a wonderful world and characters in it that come alive in my head as I read along!
