Woo Hoo - KING is a NY Times Bestseller!

Thank you, everyone! Thank you so much for your support - I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me.

For the second time, a C.L. Wilson Tairen Soul novel has hit the NY Times. It's true! Despite the financial meltdown, Hurricane Ike's aftermath, and gas shortages in the southeast, KING OF SWORD AND SKY came in at #35 on the NY Times Bestseller list for the week ending Oct 5 (List to be published in Oct 19th issue of NY Times)! Woo hoo!

Again, thank you all so much. I can only keep writing books so long as readers like you continue to buy them. And for that, I thank you, my publisher thanks you, and the booksellers who sell the books thank you. We couldn't do this without you.

Wonderful. I knew it would. I've been watching the number of books at the stores in my area leaving the shelves. Looks about 50% of KOSS steadily being purchased. More than most other titles. Fantastic !!!

Congratulations. You greatly deserve it !!!

Congrats!! I'd sent you an email saying that I was hoping my library could get King of Sword and Sky but they couldn't. (Mind you, NO one's library ladies are as amazing as mine!)

But then I realized I wanted to have the first two books for my home collection anyway, so I went online and bought all three. I can hardly wait to sink into them!

PS - I hope Vadim gets his just desserts. I know that might not be until Queen of Song and Souls, but I can still hope!

Slybabyk ~ First, THANK your library ladies for me. I love libraries and librarians. I love going into libraries and seeing all the families there reading.

And thank YOU, for enjoying the books enough to add them to your keeper shelf. If you were here, I would hug you :)

PS - Oh, Vadim, Vadim, Vadim...he really should not have hurt Ellie's parents. Really. Big mistake. Big. Huge. *VBEG*

Of course, after reading KOSS earlier this week, I cannot say that I'm too surprised by the anouncement. :) Your books are definitely worth every ounce of praise and acknowledgement they get, and then some.

Once more your characters come to life and the emotions leaping out of the pages. There were times I was shaking the book and doing an imaginary knocking heads of some the Massan.... Or melting at the love Rain and Ellie has for each other. I can't wait to continue the journey. Congratulations and a toast to your well deserve accolades!

OK, someone needs to create a time machine so we can just jump forward to next June!

It took great patience to finish the book I was reading before King of Sword and Sky arrived, but I'm glad I did because that left me with this weekend to steamroll through the book.

Sadly, my 2-year-old watched way too much TV today so that Mommy could read to her hearts content, but it was well worth it and she wasn't complaining LOL

I can't WAIT for Vadim to get his comeuppance!
