C.L. Wilson on the Web

Hey all! Well, I'm back from Moonlight & Magnolias -- wonderful trip, loads of fun! -- and hard at work once more on QUEEN OF SONG AND SOULS, the conclusion to the Tairen Soul series.

KING OF SWORD AND SKY was officially released last Tuesday, and I'll be out and about on the web this week to talk about the book.

Places to visit:

I did an interview with sci-fi/fantasy book maven Jessica Strider for her Sci-Fi Fan letter blog at http://www.scififanletter.blogspot.com/ . It's up now, so pop in for a quick read.

I'll be blogging with the wonderful ladies of Romance Novel TV on Wednesday, October 8th at http://www.romancenovel.tv/.

Then, on Thursday, October 9th, I will be joining the ladies of Magical Musings at http://magicalmusings.com/ as a guest blogger.

I'll be available all day on these blogs, so I hope you'll stop buy and leave a comment or two.

Beylah vo! I hope to cyber-see you soon!

Cheers
Cheryl

On my third reading of "King" - Cheryl, you did not disappoint! And I am on pins and needles waiting for the final book to be released.

Yay! She saved the kits!

Hey Orannia, I've always been Cheryl (or "meanie!" if you were talking to my younger sister and brother when we were young! LOL) So Cheryl is fine, but since most people don't know who Cheryl Wilson is even if they've read C.L. Wilson books, I'll answer to either! *g* (And I do love Gaelen. He's so much fun to write!) Hope you enjoy KING!

Patricia - YAY!!! So happy you liked it!

Thank you Cheryl :) And I know what you mean about younger siblings being unable to pronounce your name.

Patricia - your comment wasn't referring to KOSAS was it?

*orannia covers her eyes*

Ive read the King 4 times now......4 times and like patricia i was not disappointed It was like i was watching the scenes unfold before me every bit of detail came to life I was so engrossed that my BFF called and I was on the verge of tears when the High Mage was torturing you know who and when my two fav. Fey disappeared(I'm not gonna even think of the alternate)...although I really wanted Steli to tear The Massan to tiny bits how dare they!!! besides they were getting on my last nerves...ugh

on a good note though I recently converted a friend she asked for new books to read and I shoved all 3 books into her hand and she's in the middle of the first and she loves it

I don't know if I can wait for the last book June is too far away *sighs*

Excellent interview. I was right with you until you stated you haven't received your first royalty statement. Okay, so what can we, as fans do, to make that happen. They should be paying you thousands to keep us entertained.

I'll keep reviewing and posting said reviews, though I could use a little help here! Spread the word.

Universal chick - I'm so glad you enjoyed it :) And lol, June may be too far away for you, but I'm still saying - eep, JUNE? That soon? LOL. Because I have to get my book (finished version) in by end of Nov. I'm the sort of writer who is happiest with a full year to prune, plump and tinker on a story :)

Terri - lol, there is nothing you can do to get a royalty statement to me faster. I knew the terms when I signed the contract, and I don't expect to see my first statement (which will tell me how many copies of LORD sold last year) until December :)

Patricia - I think Orianna is hiding her eyes about that last statement in your post. It's a tiny bit of a spoiler :)

Mieke - YAY! :) So glad you enjoyed it.

Unfortunately *grumble grumble* I haven't read KOSAS yet Patricia :( I live in NZ so it takes books a little while to reach here from the US (sometimes I think that the suppliers put the books in glass bottles and thrown them in the ocean :) So, even though I desperately want to know what happens, I'm trying to keep my eyes covered until I have my hands on KOSAS :)

Hey Cheryl! I loved KOSAS!! Oh the possibilities, my mind runs rampant!

I think it is the best to date!! Like Patricia I can hardly wait for Queen. It will definitely be re-read soon, again and again!

After we met, I ordered the LOTR Music CD to play while reading your books, I can't wait. My husband said he'll never get to see me now! lol

I loved King of Sword and Sky!Cover your eyes, Orannia, I want to speculate:). I wonder if Lillis and Lorelle could bond one day with Bel or Gaelan, or Kieran and Kiel? Any thoughts?

I think your books are awesome. Seriously after watching the youtube video about the books. I think your books are good enough to go into theaters. I am glad to hear things are going well for you.
