I would make sure Shan and Elfeya are free and reunited with Ellysetta. Ellie can heal them of the pain and nightmares caused by a thousand years of torture and they can live happily ever after. Sappy I know, but I really want to see that happen.
Ellie's parents (sorry I don't have my book with me and I forget their names) I would let them be happy. Let them escape, or be rescued by Ellie, see the women she has become. Then just be happy.
Then again it's what I'd chose for all of the heroes of the books.
That's a hard one...If I decided the fate of one, how would it impact the fate of others? And how would it impact the story as a whole? The only clear answer I can see is (and I know this is already going to happen...How could it not?) having Ellysetta save the Tarien and in so doing, save her world and the Fey as well.
I want most of all for Shan and Elfeya to be free and reunited with Ellie and for them to have a happy ending. Oh, and I want Vadim Maur to die slowly at the hands of Shan, but before he does I want Elfeya and Ellie as shei'dalins to make him feel every pain and suffering he has caused. LOL, I'm usually not this mean or bloodthirsty, but I want Vadim to suffer as he has made Shan, Elfeya and Ellie suffer.
Next, I want the Tairen family statue Sol made to come true - that is, for Ellie to be able to Change into a tairen and for her and Rain to have the boy and girl kitlings.
I'd also like Bel and Gaelen to find their truemates, but you've mentioned that they will get their own stories, so I am content to wait.
But most of all I want a happy ending with the Vadim and the Mages defeated and Rain and Ellie and the Fey victorious.
High Mage Vaum to get what is coming to him, with his experiments, and torture on fey, elden mages, Dal'reshien.
Ellysetta to atleast rescue, save her parents, hopefully able to heal their bodies and do away with all their centuries of torture and pain.
Lastly, for Rain & Ellie to complete their bound, save the fey, tarien wiping the world of exist of mages away.
I would make sure that Ellie's parents were set free and let them both get revenge & justice on the head Eld Mage for their imprisonment.

I would have Gaelen say, "Ver reisa ku'chua. Kem surah, sheitani" when he finds his truemate. After a long hard road, they get their happily ever after.
I finished King of Sword and Sky a few days ago. The twists blew me away. An excellent addition.
Well I definitely want that High Mage to get his. Maybe he can somehow get trapped in the tunnel of demons that he uses to get to places. That would be a fitting end to him I think.
And I want Ellie's real parents to escape to freedom whole and fully able to recover and take their place once more with their people and their daughter.
Lastly, I want Rain and Ellie to finally complete that bond and be happy. To restore the vitality to their people and bring hope for future generations. And that includes a child for the happy couple.
But thats just the beginning really. All the characters in this book are so striking, I want all the good guys to find their mates and have a happily ever after as well. You can't help but feel strongly about giving them back their peace and laughter, to just love these people after reading about them in your books. Thats how I feel anyway.
I would love to make sure the Ellie's parents are rescued and healed from the hell they have been through.
I would like Shan to gain enough confidence and access enough power to take on the High Mage and defeat him. He's already in a position to cause major damage to the Eld and by defeating the High Mage he could rescue the other captives.
Also I would like Gaelan's mate to be fiesty and knock a little of his smugness out of him. He should have to work hard to win her !!!
I'm not sure if it's possible since he is blood-bound to Ellie, but I think it would be nice if Bel were to find a truemate. He's such a great guy (or rather Fey), he deserves to find a nice mate!
I would have to agree with the others:
Shan and Elfeya survive, are reunited with Elly, and live in peace.
Vadim Maur and the rest of the mages are destroyed for their evil.
Gaelen, Tajik, and Bel find and win their Shei'tani.
Kiel and Kieran find and win their Shei'tani.
I think I just about covered everybody...
Like everyone else, I want Shan and Elfeya to defeat the Eld mage, and Elly to finally accept herself for who she is and complete the bond between her and Rain. I would also like the Celerian King to see what's happening to his Queen and save her from the Eld (I can't remember the mage's name that is beginning to control her.) Lastly, I really want Lille and Lorelle to be Kiel and Kieran's truemates so that they can live with Elly and they have one big happy ending.
Several things.
Her birthparents to be rescued.
And happiness for Bel and Gaelen, my two favorites. :)

I would also want to see Ellie's parents set free.
I have to agree with sassy eggs. I want Shan and Elfeya to be freed and avenged. Pleeeeaaaassse let that happen!

Thats a bit hard to decide. I do want Elles parents to be free and also really want Adrial to be with his sheitani. I would somehow make Adrials sheitanis husbnad set her free and then let her go to Adrial...its going to take lots of maneuvering.
I would set Shan and Elfeya free somehow through Elle and then have her heal them all of their pains so they could get together and save the fey and tairen.
Hmmm that is one hard question as I along with many of your readers have concocted stories of our own especially with the main characters. I might be going off the tangent here but that little girl that is the great great grandaughter of Vadim that he is treating and abusing as a servant because she has no powers...for her to find her freedom, her own powerful magic (probably binded and hidden like Ellie) and a special fey whose soul she can call her own.
I would want Ellie's adopted sisters to find happiness, especially since they no longer have their mom with them. I would also like Sol to have at least a little happiness as well.
Lord Barriel crosses the Faering Mists into the Fading Lands, trains at Dharsa, and reignites the ancient alliance between the Fey and the Elves. The Elves then will come to the Fey in their darkest hour.
It would be a hard choice for me between a happy ending for Ellysetta's parents or for Gaelen, because he definitely needs more happiness and goodwill for his side of the story. I have this nagging feeling that he should have a truemate as well, either in these books or sometime in the future. With his hard ride through life, he deserves one.
I would free Shan and Elfeya. I'd also make certain that Adriel/Rowan (I can't remember which brother it was at present) is able to be with his lifemate without opposition.
I really hope that Annoura kicks Kolis' ass somehow! I also hope that Talisa's husband is basically an honorable guy, even if he's arrogant, that would make leaving him that much more dramatic. And like Abby, I found the appearance of the little girl in the dungeon short but memorable. I hope she plays a role in Shan and Elfeya's escape and gets away herself - not that it looks like it but that would great.
OK, like everyone I want Shan and Elfeya to be free, I want all of my favorites Kiel, Kieran, Bel, Rowan and Gaelan to find their mates. I also want Adrial to win his mate, even though it means that her husband has to die. He (the husband) seems like a jerk anyway and his dad is a huge idiot.
I'd have to agree with a lot of people on here, I'd like to see Ellie's parents free and reunited with Ellie. There situation is so sad right now.
I would have to say Valdim's granddaughter. I hated the way he treated her just because she never showed any sign of having magic. I would like to see her come into some magic then hit him when he would never see it coming. Maybe she could be instrumental in helping to free Shan and Elfeya. Then Shan could really kick some Beep.
Also I have to agree with everyone else where Rain and Ellie are concerned. To be so close to the thing you want and need most. Tragic. I can't forget about Bell and Gealen. Please tell they will finally find they truemates. I'm a sucker of a happy ending.
I'm in agreement with the majority of comments - I would want to see Ellie's *real* parents freed, and have her meet them and know where she really came from, and her real family heritage.
And I think it would be funny if Kellisande wound up becoming dirt poor, having to manually work for a living. And have her hair fall out.
*ahem* I have a bit of a mean streak towards girls like her, and goodness knows there's a lot of them!
I really want Shan and Elfeya to get their happily ever after. After all they've been through, they deserve it.
Oh, I would really like to Vadim's great-granddaughter somehow help Shan and Elfeya escape. I think it would make a great plot twist since they can take out the Elden Mages from the inside. Also, it would let Shan let out all his rage on the Eld and probably make him more sane. Most of all, however, I would like to see Shan and Elfeya reunited with Ellie and for Ellie finally able to learn her heritage.
By the way, can Ellie even completely accept the soul bond without know about Shan and Elfeya?
Okay, I totally know this probably will never happen, but I would like Kieran and Kel to maybe end up with Lillis and Lorelle.They just were so much a part of those girls life in the first book. I just think that would make for some good family dynamics.
I definitely want to see Shan and Elfeya have a happy ending.
Other than that, I would really the queen to be found out as an evil b*.

I have too many! The twins, Marissya and Dax, but if I must pick one...is it too much to wish that Den died when he leapt into the Well to escape Rain's slow and painful revenge? If not and he lives to thwart on in the upcoming books, I want a horrid end to that little wart of a man.
I'd want to have Elly be able to change into a Tairen and fly with Rain, possibly kick some major butt with him too. I also want a lot of what has already been posted to happen too Bel, Gaelen, Elfeya, Shan, and the Mages
Lots of great speculations!
I would want:
* Vadim to get what's coming to him
* Shan and Elfeya to be freed
* Keiren and Keil to mate Lorelle and Lillis (I know years and years away)
* Ellie to be free of the mage marks
* Vadim granddaughter to gain enough power to be free.
* fertility restored to the Fey and Tairen (lots and lots of babies and kitlings).
I would love to see Shan and Elfeya kill Vadim Maur-maybe with help from Melliandra.
I would like to know that all the children find good homes, live and are happy (Selianne's, Lillis, Lorelle, Hallah, Letah, Sharra, Forrahl, Tyrkomel, Keralas, and any other children that might be born in this time of distress).
I would also love to see Brodson have to face Raine and Ellie's vengence.
Choosing just one is so hard. Like Julie said, one fate can affect many others. But just like almost everyone else, I would love to see the v'En Celay matepair set free. And not free-in-death but actually out of Eld hands and reunited with the daughter they endured so much pain for in order to see her free.
It would be great if Ellie's parents and the little girl with them could kill the high mage and maybe then ellie and rain could come in at precisely the right time to completely demolish the rest of the eld mages and bring her parents home.
I wish i could see the Dahl’reisen restored so that all of the fey would be complete again.
I want what the other posts stated, but one thing I would love to see is Ellie's Tairen. To see her flying with her mate into battle would strike fear into the hearts of the enemy.

I want Vadim to suffer horribly, hopefully at the hands of Shan. If a couple ever deserved
"happily ever after" it's Shan and Elfeya!
I also want Adrial and Talisa to be able to be together.
I think I would find some way to resolve the matter dealing with Annoura, although I’m still not entirely sure how I would want such a thing to go. Dorian is too nice of a guy for me to honestly want her to give into the apprentice mage’s seductions, but at the same time I can sort of see her weakening. Besides, if she did give in, it would be interesting to see how Rain and Ellie handled having Celieria as an enemy.
1. Shan and Elfeya to really,really get the Eld High Mage back i think they should be pivotal in bringing them down considering they have suffered at his hands for so long. That perhaps as Ellie has come into her power and as she has a link to her father, Shan she can send him healing and strength which he can use in his bond with Elfeya to break away from the Mages.Perhaps find the seldor equivalent for the Mages and use it against them, perhaps even use Azrahn- now that'd shock them.
2.I want to see how the twins grow up in the aftermath of the success of the Tairen and the Fey, i think that it would be good to have them have Fey truemates.
3.Adrial and Talisa to get together, and throw the Feys and Celerians into turmoil and see how the Fey and Clerians (well Rain and Dorian) resolve that.- just to spice it all up some more!
Hmmmmm. That is such a hard question. My answer probably isn't one, but I would like all of those who have suffered to find peace and perhaps a HEA (e.g. the Tarein Shan & Elfeya, Gaelen). As Julie said, if the Tarein aren't saved then the Fey as a whole are lost...

Ellie save the Fading Lands from the evil Mages, and ends up pregnant at the end of book 4 and has many children with Rain in the future. :D
I would want...
* Shan & Elfeya to be reunited with the Fey and Ellysetta.
* To "see" Ellysetta's Tairen
* Lots of kitlings for Rain & Ellysetta
* Truemates for Bel, Gaelen, Kiel & Kieran
That these would occur over maybe 4-6 books, so the stories would continue. Also, a new book every month....yeah I know...well, I can always dream!
I think we all have a common theme going here and I am right there with everyone else. Not very original, but what I'd love to see. Although you are very good at twisting plotlines in unexpected and entertaining ways.
~Shan and Elfeya take out Vadim. Viciously. Slowly. Painfully. I love those two characters and hope they have a happy ending. They've paid for it dearly.
~Vadim's granddaughter helps them take him out and they take care of her, perhaps?
~Elly could be pregnant at the end of the book so that by the time Bel and Gaelen get their stories, we have kidlets to follow up on.
~Rain should really come into his own as king, not just the last of the Tairen but truly because he deserves it.
~Den needs to get his. Painfully.
~Kieran and Kiel and Adrial and all the others of the quintet are safe and sound.
~Lilis and Lorelle grow up and marry Kieran and Kiel, perhaps?
Sorry, I got so carried away with what I'm hoping for plot-wise that I forgot to ask how it's going in Knoxville? Have you been there before or is this your first time? Aren't the mountains beautiful?
I would like to see Shan and Elfeya free as well. Plus get revenge on the high mage once Ellysetta heals her parents. I also want Rain to get that wicked Queen Annoura for making Ellysetta be a puppy during the dinner party.
I would also like Ellysetta's foster mother to be forgiving of the Fey's and not be so hard on them. After all she is about to get related to them!
I would want to find Bel a trumate. He is my favorite.
I can't choose just one character. I know that it might take a deus ex machina for Lorelle and Lillis to become truemates of Kiel and Kieran, but I'd love to see them grow up and become their e'tani.
And for Shan and Elfeya, with all it seems that they've been through I'm not sure they could live happily ever after with Rain and Ellysetta, but I hope they are freed and see Ellie come fully into herself as a Tairen Soul and that they're able to die peacefully together.
If I were able to decide the fate of a character, it would have to be Den, the sleaze ball. I was so disgusted by his actions in the first book, the fate I would have for him, I would not wish upon anyone in real life. Him being a butcher, I would decide that the next time he stuffed his face with bacon, magically a pig would form inside him and he would have to excrete it out from his butt. Muhahah
to kat: you might want a refresher on the second novel ^_^
Hello Everyone!, I would want Kieran vel Solande to find his true mate. Hmm. .. Maybe with one of the twin sisters. Of course they would have to be much older than they are now. As it is, they get along with each other. He is seems quite taken with them. But If I were to choose it would be for him to find his true mate and happiness.
It would have to be Gaelen. He seems to be the underdog and I always root for them.
As with so many other, I would like to see Shan and Elfeya freed and reunited with Ellie. Also, how did Ellie become so powerful? Are the women actually more powerful than the men and centuries ago their power's were contained by not allowing them to fight in battles? Since Ellie is the first female Tairen Soul, if she has female children, will they be Tairen Souls? The Mage's granddaughter, even if she doens't have magic I would like to see something good happen for her (I have a soft spot for abused children). Of course, I would like to see Bel and Galen survive and find happiness.
Totally of the subject...is the Dalls/Fort Worth area in Texas on you future list of book signings?
Almost everything has been said, but i dont think anyone mentioned Lady Darramon. I would like to see her healed and happy.
Of course Rain and Ellie need to save the day and find their happy ending. In doing so Ellie's birth parents also need to be set free and reunited with their daughter. I also love the idea of Ellie's sisters finding fey truemates.
I would like to see Gaelen find peace and a truemate.
I would like to see Marissya and Dax have a child.

There would be at least two things that I would do. First I would have Ellie and Rain find out that her parents are still alive and then somehow rescue them. The second thing that I would do, would be to have Bel find his mate.
I would like to see Elfeya and Shan safe and with Ellie.
It probably won't happen but I find great pleasure in imagining Gealen true mating to a women who has a spirit to match his and a tough sharper than his. hahaha! Imagine how great that battle of wills would be!:D
On a different note I also wish for the happily ever after ending for Shan and Elfeya along with Rain and Ellysetta. I know, I know; not very original, but sincere all the same.

I really think we are one step closer for rain to discover ellies parentage. there have been small links blurbs about shan in the story line, if i am not mistaken he was Galens teacher. I have read the teaser and it appears that evidence is compiling about ellies parents the the soul sharing hers is that of a fey warrior that leads somewhere I am sure it will not go uninvestigated. In a perfect world shan and elfeya and ellie would all be reunited, but I cant say that would happen, I think it is a dangerous thing that the mage formed a connection betweent he souls of Shan and ellie, and when she accepts the mate bond rain as well this could be tragedy or triumph the souls of 3 tairen souls with access to each other. I think this book is going to bring some very grim losses, whos I can not say and some unsermountable joy
I would want Bel to find someone to love and it wouldn't have to be a truemate.
And I would want Ellie to save all the dahl'reisen.
I think I have to go with everyone else and say reuniting Ellie with her parents!
My second choice would be to have Gaelen stop being such a poophead ;)
To lcorrene: Dax and Maryssa already do have a child :-) Hint: That's who Gaelen is always sparing with once Ellysetta restores his soul.
To kneazle22: I've got to agree. There's going to be a heavy price for that bond. That and toll of all those years of torture and 'experiments' that Vadim has put Ellysetta's biological parents through :-(
First, I am excited that the book is coming out tomorrow! Yahoo! I've been looking forward to it for a loooooong time! Second as far as what happens at the end...I definitely want an EXTREMELY happy ending (Ellie's mom and dad free, Rain and Ellie happy w/kits, and verrry bad Vadim Maur to die). I don't think that it's too sappy, just a logical ending! :)
I really love these books and I'm very excited for the new one, coming out tomorrow? I agree with everyone else about the parents though, it would be a very rewarding scene.
I just finished sword and sky last night( I LOVE these books more than any I've ever read!) and turn to my boyfriend and said, "Oh my god, what about her parents?" of course he looked at me like I had lost my mind after silently reading for the past several days and then I had to explain to him what i was talking about.
I obviously feel after all they have endured Shan and Elfeya should be freed of thier torment,thiers seems to be the conflict most unresolved but I would like to see the little silver eyed girl Melliandra help them to escape along with the other prisoners and "experiments," so that they royally tick the high mage off and ruin all his hard work and evil plans! As i think he should live long enough to sufer some and see all his work done for nothing, then I'd like to leave the killing part for ellie and her parents to do together in the most painful way possible. and maybe the tairen too.
