QUEEN Release Date Changed
To my readers,
I regret to inform you that the publication date of QUEEN OF SONG AND SOULS, Book 4 of the Tairen Soul series, has been pushed back.
I am not a fast writer. I knew trying to get two books out back-to-back was going to be a stretch for me. Despite my best efforts, I fell behind with KING, and QUEEN has been going much more slowly than I anticipated. My editor and I made the decision last week to push back the release date on QUEEN rather than trying to rush the book. QUEEN will now be a June book, which means it will come out June 2, 2009.
I regret the additional delay. I hope you will understand and find that QUEEN is
worth the wait.

I'm crushed but I'll get over it! You write the book you know you want it to be and I'll practice patience once more. I know how, I just don't like it. Seriously, I'm glad that you were able to convience the powers that be to push the book back so you can give us a terrific 4th book. Your books are special and well worth the wait.

Thanks Terri. This was a hard decision, but in the end we both felt it was the best decision.
Although it means we'll have to wait, I'm glad for you that date was pushed. You'll have the time you want/need to make this book what you want it to be and we the readers will love it!!! :)
Oh man, thats the worst news I've had in awhile! Even so, I'll have to wait for it.. I will count every second closer!

Awww, that sucks. Of course it will be worth the wait, I am sure. As long as you didn't leave KING with a big cliffhanger I will be okay though. Take your time and do a fantabulous job of it!
Although I'm very disappointed that I can't read it sooner, I am glad that your not rushing it. Many good authors have ruined books by trying to push themselves to finish it by a deadline.

I would much rather wait and get a book that was well written. I'm glad you made this decision rather than try to force yourself to make deadline and the book suffer.

I am sure it will be well worth the wait!!! I am happy to know that you chose quality over a timeline it just means the book will be all you want it to be. Looking forward to reading it, keep up the good work.
Of course I felt dissapointment first. But I think it is really great that you are going to wait and not rush. Wish more authors would make that decision! And don't forget to have a social life as well in between. :)

The wait will be worth it!!!! This series is so powerful and wonderfully written that I can wait... will be hard, but DEFINITLY worth the wait!!
