Eternal Song

I watch my loved ones weep with sorrow,
deaths silent torment of no tomorrow.
I feel their hearts breaking, I sense their despair.
united in misery, the grief that they share.

How do I show that, I am not gone...
but the essence of life’s everlasting song
Why do they weep? Why do they cry?
I’m alive in the wind and I am soaring high.

I am sparkling light dancing on streams,
a moment of warmth in the rays of sunbeams.
The coolness of rain as it falls on your face,
the whisper of leaves as wind rushes with haste

I watch while you sleep in the quiet of night
I am shining from stars, I am brilliant and bright
I await the time for our journey to begin
Our souls reunite and as one we will sing.

Dahl'reisen Lament

Soul stained black by darkness
I've been banished to this half life.
All I have left is remembered honour
And for this I now must fight.
I'll protect those that I left behind
So they'll never feel this sorrow.
I'll hold the line day and night
So my fey brethern will not follow

My Light Is Fading

I can see the light
Through the shimmering surface
I reach for the sun
I claw for the warmth
It is so cold
Something keeps dragging me down, down
Into the depths
It feels like my heart is made of lead
Like an anchor attached to my chest
It drags me down, down and
I cannot breath
I open my eyes but I cannot see
I reach out but I cannot feel
I am numb
I am so cold
Only you can pull me from the abyss
That is my broken heart
Hurry, my light is fading
I close my eyes
And sink

Loneliness

The Darkness pulls me in
There aren't even shadows here
Just blackness, cold
Cold, icy, sharp pain
Like jagged ice
Running through my veins
Ripping through my heart
I think it will be frozen solid
Long before I am
I think it will shrivel and die
Long before I do
I think Loneliness will be the death of me
I think Loneliness will be the death of me

Born Live Die

I am born a thousand times
When I see you
I live a thousand lives
When I am with you
And I die a thousand deaths
When you leave

A Tairen Soul’s Journey

From loss a world reborn
With eyes unseeing
Unaccustomed to darkness
Seeing only false light.
They attacked with a warning
Only the feeble would not see
A shadow destined to create pain
To turn power against its source,
Mother to child
Brother to brother
Until nothing would be left.
But alas a warrior
Who with fire scorched,
And found love
And from fire she was molded
And found love
So the world they would save
Lest darkness set it asunder.

Sheitanitsa Reign, composed by Lady Flarien DuChanis

Gliding in the fragile cold
Tairen does not shiver
Singing to the Moon, so bold
As many nations quiver

There was a time so long ago
Warriors side by side
We fought the dark with spear and bow
With fear and burning pride

Ghosts remain in shadow's scorn
Remaining not by will
Soon in time the child is born
And stolen, to the hills

The flame-haired child was taken away
And many a blessing came
Grown tame and strong, she stood astray
Her parents none to blame

A forced betrothal, one boy connived
Her soul screamed in alarm
From the sky, Tairen Soul arrived
To protect her from harm

Stride by stride the bond was made
An all but simple endeavor
Many terrors paved the way
But they were strong and clever

Their Tairen Song grows stronger yet
Together in the night
A bitter voice of no regret
Strengthening their might

War creeps up, beyond the mountains
Lurking at our door
The blood comes next in gruesome fountains
And I will sing no more

Ellie's Response to Rain's Poem

Since I was a child I delighted in Feytales.
Mostly enraptured by you, in your magnificence all else pales.
I too remember the day you found me, lifting me off the ground.
Having truly no idea that forever together we were bound.
And although I struggled at first, having trouble accepting our fate,
I know now and believe with all my heart, that you Rain Tairen Soul are my truemate.

Rainier's Poem to Ellie

I remember the day I found you in Celieria trampled on the ground.
The bones in your hand were crushed making an awful grinding sound.
I called to you, "Ver reisa ku'chae. Kem surah, shei'tani."
But the obvious fear in your eyes, in your voice, made it clear you did not understand me.
Despite your initial wariness, I never doubted you the half to make me whole.
It was destined long ago by the fates, you're my truemate to me, Rain Tairen Soul.
And now looking back at the long way we've come, how you've softened me, a better Feyreisen.
Never for one chime in a day goes by, I'm not grateful you're my shei'tani and I'm your shei'tan.

Fiercest of Fey

Fading Lands, Faering Mists.
Fey warrior, champion of Light.
Fading Lands, Faering Mists.
Leading a never ending Fight.

Tairen Soul:
Singing, soaring high.
Tairen Soul:
Thundering, roaring cry.

Fading Lands, Faering Mists.
Fey warrior, fiercest of Fey.
Fading Lands, Faering Mists.
Alone, leading the way.

Dance of Knives

A flick of wrists,
    A seldom miss.
A deadly song,
    The Dance goes on.
So learn it well,
    This warrior’s spell.
For a killing blade,
    Means many lives saved.

Untitled

Free to live the way i should
or free to live the way they tell me
shaking inside, bravado outside

I am not alone
he walked out of the night
to be by my side
strength in numbers he said
wisdom with calm
and hope with the love
i found with the meeting of
our souls, the alinement of such
gave the courage to defeat the evil
residing in our world

For we are the Tairen Souls
and our love will stand the test of time

Dahl'reisen's Plea

Shadowed Path,
soothing path,
Choice from pain and sadness.
Aching path,
desperate path,
Escape from lonely madness.
Darkened path,
forsaken path,
Hide from fear and sorrow.
Lonely path,
empty path,
Save me from the 'morrow.

Praise to the Elements and Mystics

Bearer of Earth,
  forms to birth.
Bearer of Air,
  make weather fair.
Bearer of Fire,
  send flames higher.
Bearer of Water,
  quench with ardor.
Bearer of Spirit,
  make us feel it.
Bearer of Azrahn,
  wielder of demon.
Bearers of power,
the world with awe do you shower.

Celerian Prayer

Lord Adelis,
God of Light,
Save me from a human's spite.
Lord Seledorn,
God of Darkness,
Spare me hell's uncaring starkness.
Lady Asha,
Goddess of Kin,
Lead this family from age old sin.
Lords and Ladies,
Shining bright,
I pray to you
and your awful might.

Fey beauty,
exquisitely fine,
with eyes like jewels,

To have such grace...
To be like them,
to join their place...

Fey Battle Cry

Aiyah! Yes!
We sing for love,
We sing for death,
For wings above.
Nei! No!
For Her we die,
For grace and blessing,
not anger, never sly.

Beyond the Faering Mists

A hidden land forbidden land,
    Beyond the Faering Mists.
A people gone except in song,
    Beyond the Faering Mists.
Where magic’s spun and great work’s done,
    Beyond the Faering Mists.
Where Fey still dwell behind the spell,
    That is the Faering Mists.

Hope

Shimmering light upon the dawn
What lies ahead of us is still unknown
I hope with all my heart
That you and I will never part
I see us as one yet two
Thinking of all the good we both can do
Righting wrongs of the past
Bringing future better hope at last
I thought of this day
But thought I had lost way
Until that faithful day
When the Gods sent me your way
You and I are the hope
The hope of the Tairen Soul
The hope of both young and old
Show me the light the dwells upon your soul
So we both can save the Tairen Souls...

Joy to the Fey

A soul is formed
and pulled asunder.
How the wretched will scorn
these half-souled wanderers.

Through bells and chimes
the two halves search;
through tempestuous times
and loved ones left without words.

As the sky is torched
to soften the hurt,
and the earth is scorched,
nothing left save the blackened dirt.

One will seek the other
and one will seek shelter.
Yet within the bond they will discover
on tairen wings he felt her.

There is light exceeding
as the two halves unite.
At last finding sought after sereneness
and consuming love that is life.

So as the story ends
and what was not begins,
when the sun’s light will dim,
then she will be one with him.

Beware those that would interfere.
A feycha from Fey hands will fly,
and you will know fear,
as well as a Tairen Soul knows the sky.

Upon her head rest the destiny
of all the Fey and Tairen alive.
Her life is the responsibility
of the Tairen with lavender eyes.

A Fey woman with a tairen’s soul and a Shei'dalin’s touch.
A Fey King, warrior and once, last of his kind.
A bond of a shei'tani and her shei'tan.
Love saved forever by the Feyreisa and the Feyreisen.

Shei'dalin's Strength

A touch of surrender and immense power
Where nothing seems to exist but fire
An excruciating ache all consuming
Pain stronger than any known torture
Her body shakes with the feeling
As her mind numbs and her heart is dismantled
Nothing as vulnerable
Nothing so precious
She will touch knowing she will suffer
But nothing will prevent her
From becoming the warriors savior
When it is done and she is weakened
Who will save her from the dread of a dahl'reisen?

The Conquest

My body and soul are one with the earth;
Being reborn with every child's cosmic birth.
Merging with them from their first breath
And suffering with them upon their death.

My body and soul are one with the stars;
Shinning so brilliant from afar.
Guiding each Specter to their impending fates;
Dreams and visions reveal their genuine Soul mates.

My body and soul are one with the Sun;
Their threads of forthcoming survival have been spun.
Their kith and kin's destiny lay just beyond the horizons;
Upon their wary shoulders rest many wavering burdens.

My body and soul are one with the moon;
Seeking out guidance from the old wise man of the runes.
His words and wisdom tell of a journey that has just begun;
Joining all that seek the greatest conquest yet to come as one.

A survivors lament

Fifty thousand drops have fallen
still you won't heal me
Forty thousand tears I've cried
still no healing in foresight
Thirty thousand screams I've made
still no answers, nothing but bitter fate
Twenty thousand wounds have opened
still you're not coming near me
Ten thousand times I've fainted
falling forever, lost forever

A thousand oceans I've cried
hoping for you to come near me
A thousand oceans I've made
praying for you to come heal me
A thousand oceans I've hated
'cause you never came
never heard, never healed
A thousand oceans I've pleaded
for you to walk into my embrace once more
A thousand oceans I've begged
All to release me from this sad

so now I'm lost for a thousand years
already falling for a thousand years
and thousands of more to come
falling forever, lost forever
falling forever, alone forever
Memories are a burden to bear
Cradled forever, shunned forever
I lose myself in ancient history
to find you there by my side, forever
but I open my eyes to be alone, forever

A shei'tans promise

I will give you everything I long for
I will give everything I own
everything I posses will be yours
as will everything I desire
we will be together, never alone
we will love each other, always
for now and for ever.
Love and trust go hand in hand,
Love and loss make who you are,
Love and pain can hardly be united,
so I will give you all my love,
all my trust and all my pain.
For you are the safe keeper of my soul
For you make who I am.
And all the pain in the world is not enough,
to keep me away from you.
All the loss in the world is too small,
to separate me from you.
Because the one thing, above all,
I just die to do,
is to love you, and say I do.
I'd give anything and everything
without a doubt even more
so I can love you even better than before.

Gaelen's Warning

Dark Lord,
with dark warnings,
dashing peace and safety.
Dark Lord
with dark becomings,
leaving fear and frenzy.
Dark Lord,
with dark stories,
stealing through the night.
Dark Lord,
with dark glories,
makes us all take flight.

The Sin of Eld

Drinkers of blood, basking in fear,
None here can do not but quake.
In witchly presence, and magic sense,
naught but death left in your wake.
Whispered lies, tales of honeyed peace,
while below peaceful gaze,
You plot and slither on sinful bellies,
and leave devastation in your place.
